One common consideration that people have when considering a ring training program is that they don’t know where to mount their rings. We’d like to emphasize that it doesn’t have to be within your home. You can take your rings and your training outdoors, and take advantage of some really great outdoor structures that would be perfect for providing the stability you need.
As for the logistics of ring mounting, here’s a quick tip from Ryan:
Don’t loop your ring straps directly to trees, bars, etc. It would be better to buy another shorter strap, attach that to the bar/tree and then loop your ring’s strap through that. You can also use a carabiner as a hook in. It will help your ring straps last longer because it will cut down on the friction (especially if you’re using a tree)!
